Scott Roadster XP from 2005

A sturdy horse for riding over rough ground or so says my dictionary when referring to a “roadster”, perhaps things have moved on a little, but the XP is tries to be a do all ski for the majority of levels. A generous sidecut and reasonable girth of 68mm under the boot centre give carve and floatation in most conditions for a ski that can do all…almost! If you want a strong performer in a particular facet of skiing then look elsewhere, but for what this ski is designed for, an all-rounder, then it is very good and worthy of a test.
